Knockout City (2018 - 2023)

Knockout City Official Gameplay Trailer

Core part of the Knockout City team since 2018. Worked as Technical QA pre-launch, Customization QA for Seasons 1-3, Gameplay QA for seasons 4-6, and Gameplay Designer for seasons 5-9. For Seasons 5 and 6, worked mostly as QA and partly as Design simultaneously.

Candy Wars

Helped design the Candy Wars game mode. During playtesting of the initial mode, pitched the unique "Trick" mechanic to help push it into more of a unique game feel. Worked with Engineering to implement, as well as Playtested.

Conflict Escalation

A game mode that I helped design. Pitched the initial idea, Worked with Engineers to implement, Playtested, and helped Balance.

Oops, All Playlists!

The first game mode I was the main designer on. Pitched the initial idea, implemented a majority of it myself, worked with Engineers to resolve bugs, Playtested, and slightly balanced (it was April Fools after all)

Candy Wars: Ultimate Trick

Main Designer responsible for the Candy Wars sequel. Pitched the initial idea of adding the Revenge Ultimates on top of existing mechanics. Implemented, Playtested, Balanced, and worked with Engineering to resolve bugs.

Snowbrawl Fight: Freeze Tag

Main Designer responsible for the mode. Pitched the initial idea (taking inspiration from Quake's Freeze Tag mode). Implemented some of the basic mechanics, Playtested, Balanced, and worked with Engineering for some of the larger mechanics (like the Snow Ball).

Super Mutant: Power Couple

Main Designer for the Valentine's Game Mode. Pitched the initial idea, worked with Engineering to implement, Playtested, and Balanced.

Foot Clan Clash & Z3R0's Crew Clash

Main Designer responsible for KOC's first foray into PvE. Worked with fellow designers, engineers, and QA to finally land on a PvPvE mode. Designed and Balanced each wave of AI enemies based on playtesting feedback. Adapted temporary mode into evergreen playlist for future season.

Main Designer responsible for the second April Fool's game mode. Pitched the initial idea, Implemented most of the core mechanics, Playtested, Balanced, and worked with Engineering to resolve bugs.
